Well, the first and most obvious reason is that, while I surpass the daytime talk show host in years and experience, her digital footprint prevents me from just introducing myself as Wendy Williams in cyberspace. The second reason speaks more to one of my passions. For the past 25 years, until the pandemic interruption, I’ve spent a couple of weeks in France each year as I enjoy its people, food, art, and really everything about it. So, I’m choosing to introduce myself to you in what is my preferred second language, in the manner that would occur should we have encountered each other in a French province, and in simplicity, honesty and humility. Why? Because “I am Wendy!”

My journey started in a row home in Northeast Philadelphia and spans over the decades to the SUNY campus, to the Synanon community in sunny southern California, and back to the East Coast. My current home base of Princeton, NJ, affords me the opportunity to stay connected to my roots. The following articles highlight segments of my personal journey. Professionally, I’ve been in the promotional products industry for more than 40 years and am President of JR Resources. My areas of focus include the safety, where I’ve run Wendy’s Safety Boutique to strengthen clients’ safety communications programs, and hospitality. As a women-owned business, I’m passionate about empowering other women to excel in business and in life.
